Derek Chisora vs Deontay Wilder Betting Tips
Two aging heavyweight stars collide at the 02 Arena on Saturday night as Britain's Derek Chisora faces former WBC heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder.
This will be the 50th fight for both men and there is a good chance that this will be the last time at least one of these two veteran stars steps inside the ring.
Chisora has a 36-13 record and boasts a CV that reads like a 'who’s who' of heavyweight boxing over the last two decades. Del Boy has faced Tyson Fury three times, Vitali Klitschko, Kubrat Pulev (twice), Dillian Whyte (twice), Oleksandr Usyk and many others in his storied career.
Wilder has a 44-4-1 record and is widely regarded as one of the most devastating finishers in the history of the sport. The Bronze Bomber has 43 knockouts on his record and he made 10 successful defences of his WBC crown before being dethroned by Fury during a remarkable trilogy, during which he lost twice and drew once.

Tip 1 – Derek Chisora to win @ 12/25
At his peak, Wilder would probably beat any version of Derek Chisora due to his sensational power, but the American looks to be a shadow of the figure who reigned supreme for a five-year spell between 2015 and 2020.
After losing his third and final meeting with Fury, Wilder dispatched Robert Helenius in the first round but since then he has underwhelmed. The Alabama brawler was comprehensively outpointed by Joseph Parker and then stopped in the fifth round by Zhilei Zhang, while he needed seven rounds to beat the relatively unknown Tyrrell Herndon in his last bout.
In contrast, Chisora has shown no signs of slowing down and he comes into Saturday’s bout after three consecutive wins. The Londoner is a fairly easy target but Wilder's power appears to have deserted him and Chisora's high-pressure style, durability and sheer relentlessness could see him overwhelm Wilder.

Tip 2 – Derek Chisora to win by KO, TKO or DQ @ 7/5
Somewhat incredibly, Chisora hasn't managed a win inside the distance since he stopped David Price in the fourth round back in 2019, but he can end that run against Wilder.
In terms of styles this bout looks all wrong for Wilder. The American likes to hold back and unleash his thunderous right hand but he won't be afforded the time to set himself up against Chisora.
Wilder's durability has to be questioned after a fifth-round stoppage to Zhang and, if Chisora is able to close the distance, and unload, he can record a 24th KO of his career.
Wilder may crumble before the mid-point
Tip 3 – Derek Chisora to win in rounds 1-6 @ 33/10
Following on from the above, Chisora may be able to engineer a stoppage before the halfway point.
Wilder was exceptional at soaking up punches earlier in his career, but the 40-year-old has lost a lot of that punch resistance.
Chisora will be more explosive early on and if he does make a fast start, War may be able to stop Wilder before the start of the seventh round.
