BARCELONA VS REAL MADRID TIPS: HOSTS TO WIN FEISTY EL CLASICO

The biggest game in the Spanish football calendar is finally here… but with a delicious twist.

Or at least for those of the Catalan persuasion. The hosts will have the opportunity to win the title against their fiercest rivals on Sunday.

But Real Madrid have a bee in their bonnet this season and are sure to be desperate to put any celebrations on ice.

Below, we pick out some of the juiciest odds ahead of what should be a mouthwatering El Clasico…

BARCELONA VS REAL MADRID: ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

Tip 1 – Barcelona to score 3+ goals @ 6/5

This Barcelona team likes to score goals. In their last 10 games at home in all competitions, they have averaged over three per game.

Indeed, they have scored 11 against Los Blancos in their previous five meetings with them.

Real have not been at their best all season and have only kept one clean sheet in their last 10 games.

The hosts may be without their star player in Lamine Yamal but they still have the firepower to cause Real Madrid lots of issues.

Tip 2 – Marcus Rashford to score @ 19/10

With Yamal ruled out and Raphinha only just returning from a hamstring issue, the stage feels set for Marcus Rashford to play a leading role against Real Madrid this weekend.

Hansi Flick simply does not have the same attacking depth available, which should hand Rashford close to a full 90 minutes and that is a huge boost for anytime goalscorer backers.

Rashford has already shown flashes of his best form in Spain, thriving when given space to attack defenders one-on-one.

Barcelona’s high defensive line can be risky against quick transitional forwards and few players in Europe are more dangerous running in behind than the England international.

The added responsibility could actually suit him. With Yamal absent and Raphinha not fully match-sharp, Rashford is likely to become one of Barcelona’s primary outlets in the final third.

That means more touches in dangerous areas, more shots and ultimately more chances to find the net.

Against elite opposition, that direct style can be decisive.

Tip 3 – Vinicius Junior to get a card @ 7/5

This is as close to a sure a bet as we can find in the card markets.

The feisty Brazilian forward is averaging a card every four games in La Liga this season, with eight from 33 appearances.

He plays with his heart on his sleeve and, with a raucous atmosphere expected and a chance for the Blaugrana to win the title, all the conditions are there for him to add to his tally.
