BETMGM GOLDEN GOALS STAT PACK SPECIAL: FA CUP & CHAMPIONSHIP
We’re mixing up the Golden Goals format this week as the Premier League takes a break – as a result the FA Cup and Championship are taking centre stage!
In the cup, it’s a huge day for Mansfield as Premier League leaders Arsenal head to Field Mill, while Wrexham give Chelsea a Hollywood welcome on Saturday evening.
Newcastle face Manchester City for the fifth time this season, Fulham take on Southampton at Craven Cottage and 1972 winners Leeds are at home to Norwich.
In the Championship, there’s a huge game at both ends of the table at Portman Road.
Ipswich, with the Premier League in their sights, play a Leicester side who are in real danger of slipping into League One just a decade after being crowned champions of England.
Remember, successfully predicting the scorelines in these games could net you up to £250,000. The best part? Getting as few as two scores correct could mean one of several prizes heading your way, ranging from Free Bets to a share of £5,000 cash!

Need a helping hand with your correct scores? Here’s how we see things playing out…
MANSFIELD 0-4 ARSENAL
- Form (most recent first): Mansfield DDLLW / Arsenal WWWDW
- Last result: Rotherham 0-0 Mansfield / Brighton 0-1 Arsenal
- Mansfield home record all competitions: W7 D6 L7
- Arsenal away record all competitions: W16 D5 L2
- Key stat: Gabriel Martinelli has scored in all of Arsenal’s FA Cup games so far
Arsenal walk into the FA Cup fifth round scoring an average of four goals per match and with plenty of confidence, competing in all four available competitions.
Both of the Gunners’ previous two games in this competition have ended with four goals scored for the north Londoners and Gabriel Martinelli finding the back of the net – including his first senior hat-trick against Portsmouth.
Mansfield have won only two games at home in League One this year, drawing six and losing three.
BetMGM’s Bet Builder: Arsenal to win, 4+ goals & Martinelli to score @ 13/5

IPSWICH 3-1 LEICESTER
- Form (most recent first): Ipswich WWWLL / Leicester LDDLL
- Last result: Ipswich 1-0 Hull / Leicester 0-2 Norwich
- Ipswich home record all competitions: W13 D5 L1
- Leicester away record all competitions: W6 D6 L10
- Key stat: Only relegated Sheffield Wednesday have conceded more than Leicester in the Championship
Both relegated from the Premier League last season, Ipswich and Leicester are having contrasting seasons back in the second tier.
The Tractor Boys are pushing for an immediate return to the promised land while the Foxes are in danger of slipping into League One – 10 years after being crowned Premier League champions.
Just one home league defeat all season sees Ipswich sit just outside the automatic promotion spots. Leicester, by contrast, are yet to win on the road in 2026.
They did win the reverse fixture at the King Power but picking up anything at Portman Road here seems a long shot – Ipswich have won their last two home games to nil and have scored more goals than all but Coventry, while only doomed Sheffield Wednesday have shipped more than Leicester.
BetMGM’s Bet Builder: Ipswich to win, over 2.5 goals & Jack Clarke to score @ 10/3
WREXHAM 2-2 CHELSEA
- Form (most recent first): Wrexham WWWDW / Chelsea WLDWD
- Last result: Charlton 0-1 Wrexham / Aston Villa 1-4 Chelsea
- Wrexham home record all competitions: W12 D6 L5
- Chelsea away record all competitions: W13 D5 L7
- Key stat: This is the first meeting between the sides since 1982
Wrexham last faced Chelsea 44 years ago, a 2-1 win in an FA Cup fourth-round second replay at the Racecourse saw the Blues progress.
Chelsea will head to north Wales this time with more than a hint of trepidation. Premier League Nottingham Forest have already fallen to the Red Dragons in the FA Cup – a Hollywood blockbuster could well be in store.
Nathan Broadhead and Kieffer Moore can cause problems in attack and, with Chelsea’s well-documented disciplinary issues, Wrexham will certainly think there is something here for them. A shock, of sorts, may be on the cards.
Expect goals, too. There have been 62 in the Championship at the Racecourse so far and the win over Forest was a penalty shootout after a 3-3 thriller. Spot kick drama again, anyone?
BetMGM’s Bet Builder: Draw in 90 minutes, BTTS & Broadhead to score or assist @ 15/1

NEWCASTLE 1-2 MANCHESTER CITY
- Form (most recent first): Newcastle WLWLW / Man City DWWWW
- Last result: Newcastle 2-1 Man Utd / Man City 2-2 Nott’m Forest
- Newcastle home record all competitions: W16 D2 L7
- Man City away record all competitions: W12 D4 L5
- Key stat: Both teams have scored in three of the last four at St James’ Park (all comps)
It’s the second Manchester side to head north in a matter of days and Newcastle’s fifth meeting with Pep Guardiola’s men in all competitions this season (W1 L3).
Eddie Howe and co. may have beaten the Citizens once at St James’ Park this season but they failed to defend the EFL Cup last month across both semi-final legs – losing 2-0 on home soil in the first.
Expect Omar Marmoush to be amongst the action again, having scored or assisted in all but one game he’s featured against the Magpies since his arrival last January.
BetMGM’s Bet Builder: Man City to win, BTTS & Marmoush to score or assist @ 4/1
FULHAM 2-1 SOUTHAMPTON
- Form (most recent first): Fulham LWWWL / Southampton WWDWW
- Last result: Fulham 0-1 West Ham / Sheffield Wednesday 1-3 Southampton
- Fulham home record all competitions: W11 D2 L5
- Southampton away record all competitions: W9 D5 L8
- Key stat: Southampton have scored 13 goals in their past five games in all competitions.
Fulham haven’t made it to the semi-finals of England’s oldest cup competition since the 2001/02 season, where a young John Terry sealed heartbreak for the Cottagers with a deflected shot.
The men from west London have won three of their last four games in all competitions against the Saints.
However, Southampton have finally found their form this campaign with seven wins from their last 10 in all competitions and just one defeat in that run.
In the 3-1 away win over Sheffield Wednesday last time out, all of Saints’ goalscorers were defenders, including England international Taylor Harwood-Bellis. Fulham will likely win – but it’d be foolish to ignore the fact Southampton are scoring lots of goals.
BetMGM’s Bet Builder: Fulham to win and Harwood-Bellis to score or assist @ 25/1

LEEDS 1-0 NORWICH
- Form (most recent first): Leeds LLDWD / Norwich WWLWW
- Last result: Leeds 0-1 Sunderland / Leicester 0-2 Norwich
- Leeds home record all competitions: W6 D4 L5
- Norwich away record all competitions: W8 D5 L6
- Key stat: There have been three goals in each of the previous three games involving Leeds and five goals in the last three games involving Norwich.
Every time Leeds have a chance to all but guarantee Premier League safety for next season, they let it slip. A scrappy 1-0 defeat to Sunderland on Tuesday will ramp up anxiety levels in West Yorkshire.
After a harrowing start to the season, Norwich are turning the tide. A run of four wins in their opening 22 games of the campaign had the Canaries aflutter with fears of relegation.
Since then, they have won 12 matches from 17, a win rate of 70.58%.
This won’t be an easy one for the hosts. However, Premier League quality should edge out the win – it might just be a low-scoring affair.
BetMGM’s Bet Builder: Leeds to win and under 2.5 goals @ 14/5
