Cheltenham 13:20 – Triumph Hurdle

It’s easy to see why Selma De Vary (10/3) is close to the head of the betting, having chased home Narciso Has on her stable debut in the Dublin Racing Festival’s Grade 1 juvenile event.

She doesn’t have that rival to worry about this time round and has plenty of experience having looked promising at Auteuil in 2025; that could give her the edge against these rivals.

Selection: Selma De Vary

Cheltenham 14:00 – County Handicap Hurdle

Plenty in with claims in the County with a chance taken on Sixandahalf (10/1), who should relish coming back down in trip.

She was only just touched off in the Dawn Run Mares’ Novices Hurdle last season here and a return to Cheltenham, as well as the yard returning to form, could be enough to spark a revival from this mare.

Selection: Sixandahalf

Cheltenham 14:40 – Mares' Chase

It’s hard to get away from last year’s winner Dinoblue (15/8), who looks like one of the bankers of this year’s meeting.

She looks like she’s retained all her ability in two wide margin wins on her last two outings and this looks like a poor renewal.

Selection: Dinoblue

Cheltenham 15:20 – Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle

The Passing Wife (9/1) has slowly worked his way back to form this campaign and, after bolting up in a maiden hurdle last time, he could be worth chancing at big odds.

The seven-year-old, who won a point-to-point, could relish this step up in trip and he’s closely matched on form with the much shorter-priced Thedeviluno (9/2) from earlier in the season.

Selection: The Passing Wife

Cheltenham 16:00 – Cheltenham Gold Cup

After his narrow success in the King George when last seen on Boxing Day, The Jukebox Man (3/1 fav) could be the way to go here.

He’s unbeaten in four starts over fences and there was no fluke about his King George success so, with potentially more to come up in trip, he looks like the one to be on.

Selection: The Jukebox Man

Cheltenham 16:40 – Festival Challenge Cup Open Hunters' Chase

Last year’s winner, Wonderwall (5/1), could be a tough nut to crack after winning his recent point-to-point start in facile fashion.

He’s found a new lease of life for his new connections and this year’s renewal looks a little weaker than the one he landed last season.

Selection: Wonderwall

Cheltenham 17:20 – Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle

This doesn’t look like the strongest Martin Pipe we’ve seen in recent seasons and is perhaps a good chance for Nurse Susan (14/1) to get a third Cheltenham win under her belt.

She was outclassed in graded company last time but was on an upward curve before that run and looks like the each-way value in the finale.

Selection: Nurse Susan
