Wales vs Scotland Six Nations Betting Tips
After an opening weekend nightmare against Italy, Scotland roared back to claim Calcutta Cup success in round two of the Six Nations, and next head to Cardiff to take on out-of-sorts Wales.
The Scots failed to adapt to the rainy conditions in Rome, allowing the Italians to get points on the board early and hold them off for an 18-15 win.
However, they responded by beating England 31-20, while error-strewn Wales lost their opener 48-7 to the Red Rose at Twickenham.
Their basics were better against France, but Les Bleus still blew them away 54-12.
Scotland don’t have the same strike power as the French and tend to fall off in games, but they should win with plenty to spare in Cardiff, even if the hosts do rally late on and perhaps make the final score appear closer than it should be.

- Huw Jones to score a try @ 1/1
- Louis Rees-Zammit to score a try @ 5/2
Late Welsh surge could make score respectable
A third straight weekend of action will test the depth of the Six Nations sides and Scotland head to Cardiff without back-rowers Jamie Ritchie and Jack Dempsey, as well as wing Jamie Dobie.
Gregor Townsend's side have also struggled to produce dominant performances when significant pre-match favourites but should have no issues claiming a second win of the tournament on Saturday.
However, as strange as it might seem, Wales did show signs of improvement in last weekend's loss to France, after indiscipline and a high error count exposed them against England.
They also have a habit of producing late surges against Scotland. They trailed by 20 points at half-time last year at Murrayfield before clawing their way back in a 35-29 defeat.
Wales' best performance in last year's Six Nations came in round three against Ireland and while they may finish strongly, the Scots should still win handsomely.

Brilliant Jones unstoppable in current form
Scotland targeted England's outside centre channel and Huw Jones is sure to see plenty of the ball again on Saturday.
The 32-year-old has recovered from the Achilles injury that kept him out before Christmas and displayed the class that saw him start all three British & Irish Lions Tests last summer in his two-try showing against the Red Rose.
A reshuffle has been suggested to strengthen the Welsh midfield, but Jones' outside break is a thing of beauty, and it would be a surprise if he fails to score a first-ever try against Wales.

Louis still looking dangerous despite lack of possession
If Wales are to improve their attack, then finding ways to get full-back Louis Rees-Zammit more involved will be vital.
There have been suggestions of moving the 25-year-old back to the wing, but playing with 15 on his back gives Rees-Zammit added licence to roam.
Still to score a try in 2026, he does at least lead his team in metres gained and has history against Scotland.
Rees-Zammit ran in two tries at Murrayfield in 2021 when his country won 25-24 on their way to claiming the title.
