Rock Wins Custom Gold Darts After Brilliant Belfast Nine-Darter
After hitting a nine-darter on Night 4 of the BetMGM Premier League Darts season in Belfast, Josh Rock has been presented with a custom-made set of 18ct gold darts worth £30,000 by tournament sponsors BetMGM.
Rock hit the 22nd perfect leg in the competition’s history at Belfast’s SSE Arena on Thursday evening – although he was beaten by Dutchman Gian van Veen in the quarter-finals.
Last year, BetMGM handed out five sets of the gold darts to Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Rob Cross and Gerwyn Price (twice).
After Rock’s feat, the tournament sponsors have handed out £180,000 worth of prizes to BetMGM Premier League Darts players since the initiative was announced.

The lucrative prize, made bespoke by Humphrey and Hawkins, can be won multiple times during the BetMGM Premier League Darts campaign, meaning Rock is eligible to win a second set if he can repeat the special finish at any point during the 2026 campaign.
On receiving the prize from BetMGM, Rock said: “Double 12 hasn’t been good to me for the last six months but, when the treble 20 and then treble 19 went in, I was like ‘just please go in!’.
“When it did I couldn’t hold in the celebration in front of my home crowd. Words can’t even describe the way that I feel at the moment.
“I don’t really know what to say, to get a set of gold darts after hitting a nine-darter in Belfast is very special. They’ll be in my trophy cabinet forever.”

Brand Director at BetMGM, Dan Towse, said: “You couldn’t write it that the first nine-darter of this year’s tournament would be hit by Josh Rock in his native Northern Ireland.
“The atmosphere in the arena when Josh achieved the feat was unbelievable and he becomes the latest recipient of a set of 18ct gold darts.”
