Premier League Gameweek 11 Tips: 7/1 Acca
The Premier League weekend is evenly spread, with five games scheduled for Saturday and five for Sunday.
Manchester United head to Tottenham to get Saturday started, while Manchester City host Liverpool in the final match of Sunday.
We have picked out the best bets from the weekend’s matches, creating a four-game accumulator which pays at around 7/1.
Tip 1 – Arsenal to beat Sunderland @ 2/5
Arsenal fans are in dreamland with their team six points clear at the summit of the Premier League table, and the Gunners will expect to kick further ahead when they travel to Sunderland on Saturday.
It is remarkable that Sunderland are fourth in the Premier League table, but surely the Black Cats will struggle to sustain such a lofty perch. Arsenal have won 10 games in a row in all competitions and have kept eight clean sheets on the bounce.
Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 15 league games against Sunderland and the Londoners can stretch their lead at the top of the table.
Tip 2 – Chelsea to beat Wolves @ 4/11
Chelsea followers were disappointed by failure to beat Azerbaijanian minnows Qarabag in the Champions League on Wednesday night, but the 2-2 draw 3,000 miles away from Stamford Bridge will be quickly forgotten should the Blues defeat Wolves in Saturday’s late game.
Chelsea's deep squad can easily overcome the rigours of that long trip to Azerbaijan and Enzo Maresca's side are still well in the title race, with the chasing pack behind Arsenal extremely bunched.
If Arsenal slip up in the months to come, expect Chelsea to be among those best placed to take advantage. Wolves, who are bottom of the table and have scored only one goal away from home in the league this season, look like lambs to the slaughter for their Bridge visit.
Tip 3 – Crystal Palace to beat Brighton @ 59/50
Crystal Palace are unbeaten at home this season in the Premier League and have conceded just five goals, so the Eagles will be confident of repelling arch rivals Brighton, who head to Selhurst Park on Sunday.
Brighton have lost three of their five away games in the league this season and were dumped out of the EFL Cup at the Emirates Stadium by Arsenal the week before last.
Palace won both Premier League meetings with Brighton last season and can hand out more punishment at Selhurst Park on Sunday.
Tip 4 – Manchester City to beat Liverpool @ 22/25
Match of the weekend takes place at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday and Manchester City will feel confident that they can add to Liverpool's woes.
The Reds managed to stem the tide of disappointment by beating both Aston Villa and Real Madrid over recent days, but they had lost six of seven before that.
City have won six consecutive home games in all competitions, easily brushing aside Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night, and the old swagger has returned to Pep Guardiola's side.
Erling Haaland, who has scored 27 goals for club and country since the start of August, is in frightening form and can help punish Liverpool’s, still questionable, back line.
