BETMGM GOLDEN GOALS FA CUP & SCOTTISH PREMIERSHIP STAT PACK SPECIAL
The Premier League is on a three-week hiatus so we are mixing it up with FA Cup and Scottish Premiership fixtures in the latest round of Golden Goals.
There’s a heavyweight clash at the Etihad as Manchester City face Liverpool while League Cup runners-up Arsenal take a trip to the south coast to face Championship side Southampton.
Port Vale have enjoyed a fairytale run to the last eight and are rewarded with a memorable visit to Chelsea, while Sunday sees an all-Premier League meeting between West Ham and 1974 winners Leeds.
North of the border Rangers are chasing only a second title since 2011 and have a tricky test against Dundee United to navigate while European hopefuls Hibernian welcome relegation-threatened Kilmarnock to Easter Road.
Remember, successfully predicting the scorelines in these games could net you up to £250,000. The best part? Getting as few as two scores correct could mean one of several prizes heading your way, ranging from Free Bets to a share of £5,000 cash!

Need a helping hand with your correct scores? Here’s how we see things playing out…
MANCHESTER CITY 2-0 LIVERPOOL
- Form (most recent first): Manchester City WLDLW / Liverpool LWDLW
- Last result: Arsenal 0-2 Manchester City / Brighton 2-1 Liverpool
- Manchester City home record all competitions: W18 D3 L3
- Liverpool away record all competitions: W10 D3 L9
- Key stat: The last six meetings have seen 2.33 goals per game while the previous six spawned four per game
It seems like it was just yesterday that Erling Haaland and Dominik Szoboszlai were playing three sports at once: football, athletics and wrestling in a race to the ball rolling into an empty net at Anfield.
That 2-1 victory for City was supposed to reignite their title ambitions but the six-time champions haven’t kicked on as they would have hoped. The FA Cup represents a domestic double chance and Pep Guardiola remains hungry for silverware.
This is now a key game for Arne Slot in his bid to win back over a fanbase that is starting to have doubts amid a wretched title defence.
Mohamed Salah has also announced he is leaving the club at the end of the campaign. Will he help his team take a step toward one more trophy? We can’t see it.
City have scored three or more goals at home in just one of their previous five games – and that’s not to mention the dearth in goals in this fixture over recent years.
Home win, just not a goalfest.
BetMGM’s Bet Builder: Manchester City to win and under 2.5 goals @ 4/1

HIBERNIAN 2-1 KILMARNOCK
- Form (most recent first): Hibernian DDDWW / Kilmarnock WWLDL
- Last result: Motherwell 0-0 Hibernian / Kilmarnock 2-0 Livingston
- Hibernian home record all competitions: W7 D6 L5
- Kilmarnock away record all competitions: W2 D6 L9
- Key stat: Kilmarnock have won just one of the last 12 meetings with Hibs
Unbeaten at home since November, Hibs have had some impressive results of late including a win at champions Celtic and a solid goalless draw against Rangers.
Killie occupy the relegation play-off spot but gained two crucial back-to-back wins lately against leaders Hearts and relegation rivals Livingston.
Hibs’ home form could see them over the line. Only Celtic and Rangers have left Easter Road with three points this season, both by a single goal, and the Hibees are difficult to beat generally with only Hearts, Rangers and Motherwell having lost fewer games than their seven.
They will need to end a run of two scoreless draws and midfielder Jamie McGrath can help them do so. The former Aberdeen man has eight league goals this season and scored in the 3-1 win at Rugby Park earlier in the campaign.
Kilmarnock need to scrap for every point and keeping discipline could be key – only St Mirren’s Alexander Gogic has more yellow cards than David Watson’s nine.
With stakes high for the visitors, another caution for him could be on the cards.
BetMGM’s Bet Builder: Hibs to win, Jamie McGrath to score & David Watson to be carded @ 12/1
RANGERS 2-2 DUNDEE UNITED
- Form (most recent first): Rangers WWLDD / Dundee Utd WDLWL
- Last result: Rangers 4-1 Aberdeen / Dundee Utd 2-0 Celtic
- Rangers home record all competitions: W17 D6 L5
- Dundee United away record all competitions: W4 D8 L7
- Key stat: Rangers & Dundee United have drawn a combined 25 league games this season
Rangers’ title challenge has been built on shaky ground, with 12 league draws denting their ambitions. Curiously, only Dundee United have shared the spoils more often this term.
The last two meetings between these sides have ended 2-2 and, with both teams scoring in the last five encounters, goals look likely again in this one knowing United need a win to have any hope of top six.
United have also scored in four of their last five visits to Ibrox while the stats point towards a busy afternoon for both keepers, given there’s been an average of 9.2 saves made across the last five meetings.
With 45 fouls and 10 yellow cards dished out across the two games these two have played out this term, another fiery contest is probable and Terrors defender Iurie Iovu, with nine yellow cards this season, could well be in the referee's book again.
BetMGM’s Bet Builder: A goal in both halves, over 6.5 total keeper saves & Iurie Iovu to be carded @ 6/1

CHELSEA 5-0 PORT VALE
- Form (most recent first): Chelsea LLLLW / Port Vale LLWLD
- Last result: Everton 3-0 Chelsea / Wycombe 4-0 Port Vale
- Chelsea home record all competitions: W10 D5 L7
- Port Vale away record all competitions: W4 D3 L12
- Key stat: This is the first meeting between the sides for 97 years
League One bottom side Port Vale can point to their last meeting with Chelsea for some confidence here – a 1-0 win in April 1929.
On a serious note, the Valiants earned their quarter-final spot by beating Championship side Bristol City and Premier League Sunderland to set up this first meeting with the Blues for almost 100 years.
Their run, unfortunately for FA Cup traditionalists, will likely end here despite their incredible record of conceding just one goal so far.
For all Chelsea’s struggles of late they should have far too much quality for Jon Brady’s side, especially without the leveller of the Vale Park pitch.
Chelsea have scored at least four in each of their FA Cup games so far, all against lower-league opposition, and that to happen again looks a solid proposition.
Pedro Neto to score at least one of them is 16/5 as a single bet – the Portugal international has four in the competition so far, including a hat-trick at Hull.
BetMGM’s Bet Builder: Chelsea to score over 3.5 goals & Pedro Neto to score @ 16/5

SOUTHAMPTON 1-3 ARSENAL
- Form (most recent first): Southampton WWWDW / Arsenal LWWDW
- Last result: Southampton 2-0 Oxford United / Arsenal 0-2 Man City
- Southampton home record all competitions: W11 D6 L3
- Arsenal away record all competitions: W17 D6 L2
- Key stat: Arsenal average 3.3 goals a game in this competition
A run of 14 unbeaten has put Southampton firmly in Championship play-off contention as well as the FA Cup quarter-finals.
Just one win in their last three visits to St Mary’s, coupled with Southampton’s current form, will give Arsenal and their fans something to worry about… but they should still have the firepower to go through.
A win here would send Mikel Arteta’s side back to Wembley for the semi-finals, an opportunity they won’t want to miss as they look to make amends for their League Cup final defeat to Manchester City.
Gabriel Martinelli leads the way for the north Londoners in this competition with four goals and is expected to feature again in a rotated side.
BetMGM’s Bet Builder: Arsenal to win, over 3.5 goals & Gabriel Martinelli to have a shot on target @ 5/2
WEST HAM 1-1 LEEDS
- Form (most recent first): West Ham LDWWL / Leeds DDWLL
- Last result: Aston Villa 2-0 West Ham / Leeds 0-0 Brentford
- West Ham home record all competitions: W5 D4 L8
- Leeds away record all competitions: W3 D7 L8
- Key stat: This is the furthest both teams have gone in the FA Cup in 20+ years
The fear of relegation takes a short break at the London Stadium, with the prospect of winning silverware very much alive for these two Premier League sides.
Who gets it done within 90 minutes? We’re saying neither… at least not in normal time.
West Ham earned this spot by beating Brentford on penalties, a similar rough-and-tumble side to their Sunday opposition and one that relies heavily on set pieces and physicality to wear you down.
Jarrod Bowen scored a brace in that game and is the Irons’ sharpest attacking threat this season with 17 goals and assists across all competitions.
Leeds may have won the battle 2-1 at Elland Road earlier this term but have drawn a blank recently with their last two games ending 0-0.
BetMGM’s Bet Builder: Draw, both teams to score & Jarrod Bowen to score or assist @ 7/1
