GERMAN CUP FINAL TIPS: BAYERN MUNICH TO REINFORCE DOMESTIC DOMINANCE
Bayern Munich have had a memorable, record-setting season.
No team has scored more goals in Bundesliga history than this iteration of the German giants. They have an extraordinary 122 in 34 league games, smashing the previous record that stood for 54 years by 21.
Harry Kane managed his fourth league hat-trick in the 5-1 final day win over Koln, which sealed the division’s top scorer accolade; Michael Olise won the player of the year award.
There is one final chance for Bayern’s stars to show what they can do ahead of the World Cup and we are backing them to put on one final show – and advise all VfB Stuttgart fans to hide behind the sofa…

Tip 1 – Bayern Munich to score over 3.5 goals @ 21/10
This has been the campaign of many goals for Bayern, that much is obvious.
But you only have to look to recent history to find compelling reasons for backing this market.
They have scored 33 goals in their last 10 games in all competitions at an average of 3.3 goals per game.
Meanwhile, Stuttgart have conceded 12 goals in their previous six matches, including four goals in a single game against their cup final opponents.
We can see history repeating itself here.
Tip 2 – Harry Kane to score 2+ goals @ 12/5
The England captain has been in scintillating form and ended his league campaign in true Kane fashion with yet another clinical hat-trick.
Stuttgart simply haven’t found an answer to Kane this season either.
Bayern have beaten them three times already, including a 5-0 demolition in which Kane grabbed a hat-trick.
That previous success matters, especially in a final where Bayern’s elite players tend to step up under pressure.
With Bayern chasing the domestic double and Kane desperate to cap another historic season with silverware, expect Vincent Kompany’s side to feed their number nine at every opportunity.
When Bayern dominate territory and chances Kane rarely stops at one goal and, against a Stuttgart side he clearly enjoys facing, another multi-goal haul is firmly on the cards.
Tip 3 – Michael Olise over 1.5 shots on target @ 7/5
We have seen it time and time again: Olise cuts in from the left flank on his left foot and lets loose from outside the area, bending it inevitably towards the far corner.
The Bundesliga player of the season has some similarities to the great Arjen Robben, who once played for Bayern, which makes the over/under line on shots on target for the mercurial winger so enticing.
He has managed six shots on target in his previous five league games, averaging more than one a game.
At the price, we think it’s worth a bet that he puts his stamp of authority in one final flourish to cap an extraordinary individual campaign.
