Premier League Matchday 33 Tips - 125/1 Accumulator
After a midweek of European action, it’s back to the Premier League this weekend as the pressure mounts at the top and bottom ends of the table.
There are some key games to look forward to, with just one point separating the top three, while just two points separate 18th and 16th in the battle to avoid the drop.
We have selected five bets to consider going into Matchday 33, which could return at a massive 116/1 in an accumulator, if successful.
Newcastle v Tottenham (Saturday - 12:30)
Alexander Isak to score @ 11/10
Goals look likely when European hopefuls Newcastle and Tottenham go head-to-head, with 12 netted across the last two meetings between the two sides.
Spurs won the reverse fixture 4-1 back in December and the Magpies will be out for revenge, as they seek to extend their unbeaten record to four matches.
The last early kick-off at St James’ Park saw Eddie Howe’s men complete an incredible 4-3 comeback win against West Ham, with Alexander Isak on the scoresheet twice.
The Swedish star has bagged three goals in his last three games and also scored a brace in this fixture last season, when Newcastle ran out 6-1 winners.
It’s also worth noting that Tottenham have kept just one clean sheet in 11 Premier League games since the turn of the year.
Burnley v Brighton (Saturday - 3pm)
Under 2.5 Goals @ 13/10
Scoring goals has been one of the major issues for Burnley this season, with the Clarets the joint-second lowest goal-scorers in the Premier League.
The Clarets have found the net just 32 times in 32 games and just 16 of those have been scored at Turf Moor - five coming in one game against Sheffield United.
It’s fair to say Brighton have struggled for consistency this term and Roberto Di Zerbi’s men have scored just two goals in their last five Premier League games.
Their recent away record also makes poor reading, with just one win in their last 10 league games on the road.
Nottingham Forest v Wolves (Saturday - 3pm)
Draw @ 13/5
The last three meetings between these two teams have finished in 1-1 draws and there looks a good chance they will share the spoils again.
Nottingham Forest find themselves outside of the relegation zone on goal difference and can ill afford another home defeat.
Wolves have suffered badly from injuries to key players in recent months and their shock FA Cup defeat to Coventry has also had a negative impact.
Since that Cup exit Gary O’Neil’s squad have collected just one point from their last three Premier League games.
Both teams will feel like key refereeing decisions have gone against them at crucial times and although Wolves are sat in mid-table safety, every point is vital for Forest.
Liverpool v Crystal Palace (Sunday - 2pm)
Jefferson Lerma to get a card @ 8/5
Sunday’s clash at Anfield could have a significant impact on things at both ends of the table, as title hopefuls Liverpool play host to a Crystal Palace team still battling to avoid the drop.
The home side have lost top spot following their draw at Manchester United last week, but they go into Sunday’s clash having won seven of their last eight league games at Anfield.
You have to go back to October 2022 for the last time the Reds lost a home league game, while Palace’s last win at Liverpool came back in April 2017.
The Eagles are likely to give up the lion's share of possession and will need to be well organised in order to keep Jurgen Klopp’s men at arms-length.
The battle in the middle of the park could be key and Jefferson Lerma will face a tough ask to keep the Liverpool midfield at bay.
The Colombian has already been booked on seven occasions this season, with one of those having come in the 2-1 home defeat to the Reds in December.
Chelsea v Everton (Monday - 8pm)
Shots on Target: Cole Palmer - Over 1.5 @ 8/5
In a Chelsea team that has under-achieved in the league, Cole Palmer has been the shining light for the Blues this season.
The England international has scored six times in the last four games, further staking his claim for a place in Gareth Southgate’s squad for the Euros.
Palmer is joint-sixth in the Premier League for shots on target, with the former Manchester City man hitting the target 35 times in his 26 appearances - an average of 1.34 shots per game.
Everton have been facing just above 13 shots per game this season and Jordan Pickford is likely to be called into action a few times on Monday.
