Premier League Gameweek 35 Betting Tips: Goals Galore at the Amex?

With just three games remaining in the Premier League season, the race for European places is the main focus, and it looks like it is going right to the wire.

No fewer than six teams are still battling it out for the remaining Champions League spots, with Manchester City and Chelsea amongst those sides in the battle.

City have won their last three in the league and are up to fourth ahead of their clash with Wolves on Saturday, while Chelsea face champions Liverpool on Sunday.

We have five suggested bets for this weekend’s fixtures, including a 5/2 shot in the clash at Stamford Bridge.

Tip 1 – Man City to win and both teams to score @ 33/20

Man City vs Wolves (Friday 20:00)

Manchester City are up to fourth in the table after recording three straight league wins as they prepare to face an in-form Wolves team.

Wanderers have won their last six matches, a run that has seen them move up to 13th in the table, above the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham and Everton.

Wolves have been inspired under Vitor Pereira but it’s worth noting that all of those six victories came against teams in the bottom half of the table.

A trip to the Etihad will be a big step up and it’s a ground where the visitors lost 5-1 last season and haven’t recorded a win since 2019.

Wolves have found the net 13 times in that six-match run, so they will be confident of finding the net, but a resurgent City look set to take the points.

Tip 2 – Arsenal to beat Bournemouth @ 11/10

Arsenal vs Bournemouth (Saturday 17:30)

It’s very rare that Arsenal are odds-against on home turf, but they are for Saturday’s clash with Bournemouth, which is sandwiched between the two legs of their Champions League semi-final.

The Gunners will certainly have one eye on their trip to Paris on Wednesday, but several of the squad will believe a good performance in the league will help their cause of starting against PSG.

Andoni Iraola’s men head to the capital, having failed to win in their last four away games (three draws / one defeat) and have lost on their previous seven trips to Arsenal.

Arsenal, who could welcome back Thomas Partey, have lost just one of their last 20 home league fixtures.

Tip 3 – Brighton vs Newcastle - Over 3.5 Goals @ 29/20

Brighton vs Newcastle (Sunday 14:00)

It’s ninth versus third at the Amex Stadium on Sunday afternoon, as Newcastle look to keep their Champions League hopes on track with a positive result at Brighton.

Eddie Howe is back in the dugout after illness, and that could have a big impact on the Magpies, who have won seven of their last eight games in the league.

A last-gasp win over West Ham ended a run of five league games without a victory for Brighton, who won this fixture 3-1 last season.

There have been three or more goals in each of Newcastle’s last six games, while there have been four or more in Brighton’s last three fixtures.

Tip 4 – Alexis Mac Allister to get a card @ 13/5

Chelsea vs Liverpool (Sunday 16:30)

A home match against the champions might not look like the best fixture on paper for Chelsea’s European hopes, but it might be a good time to face Liverpool.

The Reds sealed top spot with last week’s win over Spurs and come into Sunday’s afternoon’s clash after a week of celebrations.

It’s three wins and two draws for Chelsea in their last five games, but their recent record against the Reds doesn’t make good reading.

Their last league win over Liverpool at the Bridge came back in 2018 and it’s hard to know how the visitors will react having secured the title.

Alexis Mac Allister has been one of the Reds’ shining lights, while the Argentinian has been cautioned six times in the league.

The former Brighton man was a late substitute in the reverse fixture and was yellow carded in stoppage time and was also cautioned at the Bridge last season.

Tip 5 – Jean-Philippe Mateta to score @ 7/5

Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest (Monday 20:00)

Forest’s Champions League hopes have been dented by three defeats in their last four league games ahead of Monday’s trip to Selhurst Park.

Monday’s clash will be Forest’s second game in five days and they have lost four of their last six on the road.

Palace have turned their home form around in recent weeks, with three wins and a draw in their last four home league games.

Jean-Philippe Mateta has scored in two of those four games and scored against Forest last season in a 1-1 draw at the City Ground.
