Premier League: Gameweek 37 Tips: 48/1 Accumulator
We’ve reached the penultimate games of the 2024-25 Premier League season, with some key matches across the weekend.
With the FA Cup final taking centre stage on Saturday, the league fixtures will be divided between Friday, Sunday and Monday.
We have come up with a four-time accumulator to consider which could return at around 48/1.
Tip 1 - Everton Over 2.5 Goals vs Southampton @ 31/20
Evertonians have been building up to this game for the whole season, as the Toffees say goodbye to their historic home, Goodison Park.
If you could choose a match to end on, then a clash with the bottom team would be near the top of the list, as already-relegated Southampton head to Merseyside.
The hosts will be desperate to bring the curtain down on Goodison with a win and, having scored five goals in the last two games, hopes will be high that the home fans will have plenty to shout about.
Southampton have the worst defensive record in the top flight, conceding an average of 2.27 goals per league game.
Tip 2 - Brentford to beat Fulham @ 23/25
Two teams heading in opposite directions in recent weeks meet at the G-Tech Community Stadium, as Brentford and Fulham go head-to-head.
The Bees have won their last four games to move up to eighth and above the Cottagers, who have lost four of their last five matches.
Eighth could be enough to qualify for the Europa Conference League and Brentford are now within touching distance, having gone under the radar.
The hosts are unbeaten in their last three meetings with Fulham and were only denied a win at Craven Cottage in November, by two stoppage time goals from Harry Wilson.
Tip 3 - Leicester vs Ipswich - Jamie Vardy to score anytime @ 7/5
Leicester have already revealed that Jamie Vardy will play his final game for Leicester on Sunday, as he says goodbye to the King Power Stadium faithful.
The former England man is just one strike away from 200 Leicester goals and the clash with Ipswich will be his 500th appearance across all competitions.
It feels like it’s written in the stars for the 38-year-old to find the net, especially when you consider that Vardy has two goals and an assist against the other relegated teams this term.
Tip 4 - Arsenal vs Newcastle - Sandro Tonali to be carded @ 29/10
Sunday afternoon’s clash at the Emirates could have a big impact on Newcastle’s Champions League prospects, with Eddie Howe’s men now up to third.
It’s hard to know how Arsenal will react to the disappointment of the last couple of weeks, but there were positives to take from the second-half display at Liverpool last Sunday.
A lot of Newcastle’s games have been won in the middle of the park and the absence of Joelinton due to injury, is a big setback for the Magpies.
It means even more will be asked of Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali, with the Italian a better price to collect a card, having been cautioned in the reverse fixture in November.
