Premier League Gameweek 38 Tips: Who Will Stay Up?

The Premier League season draws to a close on Sunday with Gameweek 38 and Arsenal will be presented with the English top-flight trophy at Selhurst Park, where the Gunners meet Crystal Palace.

There is action at the bottom of the table too, with Tottenham and West Ham hoping to avoid relegation.

We have picked out the best bets from the weekend matches, creating a four-game accumulator which pays 25/1.

Tip 1 - Brighton to beat Manchester United @ 17/20

Brighton still have a shot at a top-six finish and the Seagulls can be fancied to force Bournemouth into getting a result.

Fabian Hurzeler’s men host Manchester United at the Amex on the final day, but the Red Devils are booked for third spot and with Michael Carrick set to be confirmed as the permanent boss at Old Trafford, United’s level could drop.

Brighton were beaten 1-0 at Leeds last weekend, but the south coast side hit 19 shots on goal and created an expected goals number of 3.06 in a massively unfortunate loss at Elland Road.

Prior to the Leeds reversal, Brighton had won seven of their previous ten Premier League games and the Seagulls had been successful in four of their last five matches at their south coast nest.

Hurzeler’s men still have a place in next season’s Europa League to push for and they can see off a United side with only three wins in their previous ten away contests.

Tip 2 - Over 3.5 goals in Liverpool v Brentford @ 13/10

Brentford’s end-to-end 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace last weekend, featured 30 shots, 13 corners and no shortage of attacking intent.

The Bees are on the hunt for European football at Anfield on the final day and Keith Andrews' men look at least capable of contributing to a high-scoring Merseyside contest.

The west Londoners have seen ten goals scored in their last three matches and there is every reason for Brentford to go on the front foot.

Liverpool have offered little in their Premier League title defence, but Arne Slot can't afford another disappointing Anfield effort.

The Dutchman needs to keep the Reds' supporters onside for next season and he is certainly setting up his side to go on the front foot.

There have been 17 goals in Liverpool's last four games and three of those contests have gone over 3.5. It's 13/10 that there are at least three goals at Anfield and that rates a play.

Tip 3 - Sunderland to beat Chelsea @ 49/20

Sunderland have enjoyed an excellent season to surpass all market expectations and the Black Cats can secure a top-half finish by beating Chelsea.

Regis le Bris will be keen to send the Stadium of Light faithful home happy after a fantastic campaign and Sunderland have lost only four of their 18 home Premier League matches this season.

The Black Cats were excellent 3-1 winners at Everton last Sunday and the spirit to fightback from 1-0 down on Merseyside suggests that Le Bris' men are still full of desire.

Chelsea deepened Tottenham's relegation fears with a 2-1 win on Tuesday night, but the Blues were second-best in every measure at Stamford Bridge and it's only one win in eight Premier League matches for the west Londoners.

Chelsea have won only one of their last five away matches, which was an FA Cup extra-time success over Championship side Wrexham and the managerless Blues have been going through the motions for weeks.

Sunderland can sign off from a fantastic season with a Stadium of Light success.

Tip 4 - West Ham to beat Leeds @ 4/5

West Ham need to beat Leeds while hoping Everton can down Spurs to avoid the drop and the Hammers can at least keep their side of the bargain.

The Irons have lost three Premier League games on the bounce, but Nuno Espirito Santo's men have held Manchester City, Manchester United, Bournemouth and Brighton and beaten Newcastle, Everton, Sunderland, Wolves and Burnley at the London Stadium this season.

A Leeds side lacking motivation look no better than the likes of Newcastle and Everton and the hosts can be fancied to give themselves a shot at survival.
