Premier League: Gameweek 4 Tips: Derby Joy For Haaland & City?
The international break is over and the Premier League returns with Gameweek 4, which features eight Saturday matches and two more on Sunday.
There will be plenty of interest in Saturday's early fixture at the Emirates, where Ange Postecoglou takes charge of Nottingham Forest for the first time since being named as Nuno Espirito Santo's replacement earlier this week, while the pick of Sunday's double helping comes from the Etihad as Manchester City host city rivals United.
We have picked out four best bets including a selection from both of those matches.
TIP 1 - ARSENAL-ARSENAL HALF-TIME FULL-TIME @ 19/20
Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest (Saturday, 12.30pm)
Ange Postecoglou faces a baptism of fire in his first game as Forest boss, with the Arsenal fans certain to greet the former Tottenham boss in hostile fashion on his return to north London.
Last seen in a dugout when leading Spurs to Europa League glory, Postecoglou must quickly adapt to life at Forest, but his gung-ho tactics are not certain to work with a squad which prioritised robust defence under former boss Nuno.
While Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was criticised for his own defensive tactics in the Gunners' 1-0 defeat at title rivals Liverpool prior to the international break, his team should be more positive at the Emirates, where they beat Leeds 5-0 in their most recent outing. Expect them to take charge early.
TIP 2 - EVERTON TO WIN @ 7/5
Everton vs Aston Villa (Saturday, 3pm)
After a drab opening defeat at Leeds, Everton have improved to post back-to-back Premier League wins over Brighton and Wolves, and the Toffees look overpriced when Aston Villa visit the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
David Moyes' men are growing in confidence, with Jack Grealish, in particular, starting to find his feet on Merseyside, while Villa have claimed just one point from a possible nine - in a match which Newcastle dominated.
The Villans slumped to a 3-0 loss at home to Crystal Palace last time out and their high-profile deadline-day arrivals - Victor Lindelof, Jadon Sancho and Harvey Elliott - could need some time to settle in.
TIP 3 - TOTTENHAM TO WIN @ 11/10
West Ham vs Tottenham (Saturday, 5.30pm)
Thomas Frank's fine start at Tottenham came to an end against Bournemouth last time, but the Lilywhites should bounce back to beat West Ham at odds-against.
The Hammers, meanwhile, got their season up and running with a 3-0 win over Forest, but they had previously produced abject efforts in defeat against Sunderland (3-0) and Chelsea (5-1), and it would be wrong to take that City Ground victory at face value.
Frank had a fine record at the London Stadium as Brentford boss, winning three times in four visits, and he can further that statistic on first visit as Spurs boss.
TIP 4 - MAN CITY TO WIN & ERLING HAALAND TO SCORE @ 27/25
Manchester City vs Manchester United (Sunday, 4.30pm)
Both Manchester clubs head into Sunday's derby under a cloud, with City suffering back-to-back defeats and United following their shock EFL Cup loss at Grimsby with an uninspiring last-gasp 3-2 win over Burnley.
Ruben Amorim is still under significant pressure, but his United team remain unconvincing and City, for all that they still look miles short of their best, can take advantage.
Boost a City win by adding in Erling Haaland to score at any time. The Norwegian hitman has scored three Premier League goals this season and he cut loose on international duty, scoring five goals in Norway's 11-1 win over Moldova.
United left it late to triumph 2-1 in this fixture last season, but City have edged the previous three Manchester derbies at the Etihad.
