Serie A 2025/26 Outright Betting Tips
Napoli took full advantage of Inter’s end-of-season collapse and sealed their second title in three seasons, finishing one point ahead of the side from Milan.
With a few weeks to go in the season, Inter were favourites for Serie A, the Coppa Italia and were in the Champions League final. They failed to win any of the three and have since seen manager Simone Inzaghi move on.
With Inter looking at a transition season under new man Christian Chivu, Napoli have the chance of making club history and winning back-to-back titles for the first time.
The chasing pack were headed by Atalanta last time out – they finished eight points off Napoli – with the top four rounded out by Juventus, 12 points behind the champions.
The odds suggest a two-horse race once again but the competition for a top-four spot and guaranteed Champions League football looks a competitive one.
Here, we take a closer look at Serie A including tips for the title and top-four markets, with an improving side providing an attractive price in the latter.
Tip 1 – Napoli to win Serie A @ 8/5
Napoli’s title win went down to the final matchday of last season but a similarly close race is not expected to materialise this year.
Inter’s 5-0 collapse in the Champions League final at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain has had a lasting impact on the club, with Inzaghi departing swiftly after the defeat and a rebuild now required under Chivu.
With Antonio Conte remaining in charge at Napoli, the champions look well placed to improve further, particularly given their summer recruitment.
The signing of Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester City appears to be a masterstroke, while Noa Lang and Lorenzo Lucca add additional firepower to their attack.
Conte has a history of improving his title-winning sides in Serie A and, despite the added demands of Champions League football, all indications suggest that Napoli will pull further ahead of their rivals and secure back-to-back titles.
Tip 2 – Roma to finish in the top four @ 6/4
Napoli and Inter looked head and shoulders above the chasing pack last season and the same appears to be true as we head into the new campaign.
Despite Inter’s collapse, there is no escaping the fact they were just three matches away from a treble.
Even with defeat in two finals and Inzaghi’s departure, their squad remains packed with quality.
Chivu has strengthened his midfield with the signings of Luis Henrique from Marseille and Nicola Zalewski from rivals Roma while, in attack, Ange-Yoan Bonny has arrived from Parma to add depth to the Nerazzurri.
Behind last season’s top two is where the top-four market becomes interesting. Juventus and AC Milan, at 11/20 and 3/5 respectively, are next in the betting but backing Roma looks appealing.
The Giallorossi ended last season strongly with five wins from their final six matches, only missing out on the top four by a single point.
They begin this term with experienced head coach Gian Piero Gasperini in charge, following Claudio Ranieri’s move from caretaker manager to an advisory role.
Gasperini’s spell at Atalanta established him as one of Italy’s top managers, with the 2023/24 Europa League title the highlight of his time in Bergamo. He also led Atalanta to four Champions League campaigns and now faces the task of returning Roma to Europe’s elite.
A proven coach at improving players, Gasperini inherits a strong Roma squad, suggesting further development is likely in the capital.
This makes them a compelling option to back in the top-four market.
