The 139th edition of Wimbledon is here, headlined by two blockbuster main draws with Jannik Sinner entering as the heavy favourite to defend his men’s singles crown alongside a wide-open women’s singles field led by Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina.

Tip 1 – Jannik Sinner to win the men’s singles @ 9/13

The defending champion’s unparalleled movement and ball-striking ability make him our favourite and the favourite of many going into Wimbledon 2026.

Were Carlos Alcaraz competing we may have a completely different opinion, but few measure up to the sheer class and dominance shown by Sinner since his rise to the top of the game.

With his main rival sidelined with a wrist injury, the odds have turned to seven-time Wimbledon winner Novak Djokovic.

The Serb arrives at SW19 at 39 years old filled with purpose and no doubt sensing a massive opportunity to equal Roger Federer’s historic record for the most titles won at this storied slam.

Germany’s Alexander Zverev is another one to watch – a player who has beaten Sinner in the past but has since fallen to the Italian nine consecutive times, most recently in last month’s Madrid Open final.

Zverev does, however, arrive at SW19 as the reigning French Open champion; could ending his long wait for a maiden Grand Slam title spur the 29-year-old on to greater heights?

The market suggests not. Try as the field may to usurp the world number one, this is very much Sinner’s title to lose.

Tip 2 – Mirra Andreeva to reach the women’s singles semi-final @ 7/1

The women’s side of the tournament is a lot more open by comparison with 19-year-old Mirra Andreeva one of several players primed for another successful summer at the All England Club.

The 2026 French Open winner is currently third in the betting order behind Sabalenka and Rybakina – which is understandable, but also suggests she is capable of going far once again.

Perhaps she can go even further than last summer, where she shattered expectations by making the last eight, ultimately losing in two tight sets (7-6, 7-6) to returning veteran Belinda Bencic.

She may have suffered a minor post-Paris blip in Hamburg against Ekaterina Alexandrova but her overall upward trajectory at SW19 is undeniable and we are firmly backing the young star to find her trademark quick feet and build on last year’s achievement in some style.

While it might be a big ask to see her win a second major title in a matter of weeks, backing her to secure a semi-final spot is a phenomenal value bet at 7/1.

Tip 3 – Elena Rybakina to win the women’s singles @ 5/1

There have been four different Ladies’ winners over the past few years and WTA number two Rybakina is one of them.

Much has been made about her form going into SW19 after she dropped her opening grass match of the year at Queen's and suffered a surprise straight-sets defeat to Alexandra Eala in Berlin.

While disappointing, she still lifted her second major title at the Australian Open after a thrilling 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 victory over the current Wimbledon favourite Sabalenka in Melbourne.

Wimbledon women's singles odds

Rybakina is also the most lethal server on the WTA tour in 2026, comfortably leading the charts with 280 aces and sitting second only to Sabalenka for service points won (64.1%).

The legendary Serena Williams – who is making a sensational return this summer as a wildcard entrant – has historically proven just how much a dominant serve dictates success on these lawns.

Having that ability to dictate play and hold serve with ease, coupled with the invaluable experience of winning this tournament in 2022, we’re backing the Kazakhstani to block out the noise and rise to the occasion once again.
