Wimbledon Semi-Final Betting Tips
We’ve reached the last-four stage in both the men’s and women’s singles at Wimbledon and it promises to be a thrilling conclusion to the third Grand Slam of the year.
There will be a new name lifting the Venus Rosewater dish on Saturday, but who will be crowned the 2025 women's champion?
On the men's side, Carlos Alcaraz remains on course to win a third-straight title but the Spaniard now faces a big test of his credentials against a player who has a 92% success rate on grass this year.
Tip 1 – Taylor Fritz vs Carlos Alcaraz - Over 42.5 Games @ 17/10
Understandably, Carlos Alcaraz remains the man to beat at Wimbledon, although it’s fair to say he hasn’t been at his brilliant best yet in this year’s tournament.
The French Open champion needed five sets to progress past Fabio Fognini in the first round and there have been ups and downs since then.
Alcaraz also dropped a set against Jan-Lennard Struff in round three, before being taken to four sets by Andrey Rublev in the last 16, but he cruised past Britain’s Cameron Norrie in the quarters.
World number five Fritz has lost just one of his 14 matches on grass this year and won the titles in both Stuttgart and Eastbourne ahead of this event.
The American has never previously been past the quarter-finals at SW19, but he has reached the quarter-finals in two of the last three years.
Alcaraz has beaten Fritz in their last two meetings but they were both on hard courts in best-of-three matches. Grass suits Fritz’s style and if he serves well - he has 150 more aces than his opponent on Tour this year - he can take the champion all the way to five sets.
Tip 2 – Aryna Sabalenka vs Amanda Anisimova - Total Sets: Over 2.5 @ 31/20
It’s been a story of what might have been for Aryna Sabalenka so far this season, but a first Wimbledon title would make up for the disappointments.
The three-time Grand Slam champion has lost in the final in both Melbourne and Paris and seems determined to end that streak in London.
Sabalenka faces an opponent who has a winning record in the head-to-head stats, with Amanda Anisimova claiming five victories in their previous eight meetings.
It’s worth noting, though, that the American has lost to Sabalenka in their last two Grand Slam meetings, including a straight sets defeat at this year’s French Open last-16.
Tip 3 – Belinda Bencic vs Iga Swiatek - Swiatek to win 2-0 @ 17/20
Grass has been Iga Swiatek’s least favourite surface but despite having a tough last 12 months, the Polish star is threatening to end her wait for a Wimbledon title.
Swiatek has never previously been past the quarter-finals but with some of the pressure of expectation easing, she looks more comfortable in her surroundings.
The 24-year-old now faces Belinda Bencic for the fifth time, with Swiatek leading 3-1 in the head-to-head stats.
Their last meeting came at Wimbledon in 2023, when the then 14th seed Bencic won the first set before eventually losing 7-6, 6-7, 3-6.
Swiatek could find things easier this time, though, and the odds for a 2-0 victory for the Pole are appealing.
