NFL Week 13 Tips
Week 13 is here and the playoff picture is tightening across both conferences. The Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans have dragged themselves back into the battle for AFC berths while the Philadelphia Eagles are facing stiff challenges from the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams for the NFC’s number one seed.
Friday night brings a fascinating clash between the Bears and Eagles, while Sunday’s slate features divisional drama and playoff previews across the board.
We’ve picked out four standout betting tips from the weekend action.
TIP 1 – BALTIMORE RAVENS -7.0 @ 10/11
Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati Bengals (Friday, 1:20am GMT)
The Ravens have put their early-season struggles behind them amid a five-game winning run. Lamar Jackson has been cleared to play despite a minor toe issue. Their defense ranks in the top five in sacks and has been dominant at home.
The Bengals finally get to welcome back Joe Burrow, out since Week 3 after toe surgery, but they will be without WR Tee Higgins (concussion) and DE Trey Hendrickson (hip).
Baltimore’s defensive pressure and Jackson’s dual-threat ability should be enough to cover.

TIP 2 – CHICAGO BEARS +7.0 @ 17/20
Philadelphia Eagles vs Chicago Bears (Friday, 8:00pm GMT)
The Eagles have shown vulnerability in recent weeks, particularly in their ineffective passing game, and now they could be without WR DeVonta Smith (shoulder) for this Black Friday showdown with the improving Bears.
RT Lane Johnson (foot) is also battling injury and it has become noticeable that their rushing game has not been anything like as productive this year.
The Bears are riding a four-game win streak and now share the same 8-3 record as Philly.
QB Caleb Williams, who threw three touchdowns against Pittsburgh last week, appears to be rediscovering his superb rookie form and the Bears’ defense has also stepped up, allowing 20 points or fewer in two of their last three games.
Given the Eagles are struggling to convince and the Bears have momentum, backing Chicago to cover looks the value play.
TIP 3 – HOUSTON TEXANS +4.5 @ 22/25
Indianapolis Colts vs Houston Texans (Sunday, 6:00pm GMT)
The Colts (8-3) can strengthen their grip on the AFC South with a home win over their divisional rivals, although it may not be as simple as it sounds.
Indy lost momentum with their narrow 23-20 defeat to the Chiefs at Arrowhead last Sunday while the Texans have surprised many by maintaining their winning run without franchise QB C.J. Stroud.
Second-string passer Davis Mills has guided Houston to three straight victories, capped by a shock upset of the Buffalo Bills last Thursday.
With a few days extra rest and a defense ranked among the league’s best, the Texans have the potential to test the Colts’ mettle again.
TIP 4 – BUFFALO BILLS -3.5 @ 9/10
Buffalo Bills vs Pittsburgh Steelers (Sunday, 9:25pm GMT)
The Bills look well-positioned to capitalise on the uncertainty around Pittsburgh’s quarterback this Sunday.
Aaron Rodgers is still battling a fractured wrist and his status remains up in the air. Without him, Pittsburgh’s offense has struggled to find rhythm, and their ground game has not provided consistent balance.
Meanwhile, the Bills enter at 7-4 and riding a degree of momentum with three wins in their last five games. Josh Allen leads an attack that has rediscovered some of its explosiveness and they can get back on track against the Steelers, who have lost four of their last six games.
Given Pittsburgh’s injury concerns and opposite trajectory to the Bills, backing Buffalo to cover the spread looks the value play.
