- Super Bowl Winner: Predict the team to win the Big Game in February
- Moneyline: Back the team you think will win a single game (i.e. the New England Patriots to beat the Detroit Lions)
- Point Spread: A handicap system that evens the playing field, especially in uneven match-ups
- Total Points (Over/Under): Bet on the combined score of both teams, whether it will be over or under a set number
- Team Totals: Wager on exactly how many points a single team will score in a single NFL game
- Touchdowns: Predict the number of touchdowns, who will score them, or how they’ll be scored
- Player stats (passing, receiving, rushing): Back individual players to hit specific milestones, like total passing yards or rushing touchdowns
- Quarter/Half Bets: Bet on the outcome of a specific quarter or half rather than the full game
NFL Accumulators
Ready to turn your gridiron knowledge into bigger returns? With an NFL Acca, you can combine multiple bets across different games or markets into a single wager, giving you the chance to do exactly that.
What your NFL accumulator could look like:
- New England Patriots to beat the Detroit Lions
- Buffalo Bills to cover the spread against the Miami Dolphins
- Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes to throw over 300 passing yards
Each added leg stacks your odds, increasing potential returns but with additional risk, with every pick needing to land for your Acca to pay out.
Super Bowl Betting at BetMGM
Who better than BetMGM to get you ready for one of the biggest sporting events on the planet.
The Big Game is more than a final, it’s a ticket to American football immortality, as these previous winners found out first hand:

- Super Bowl 2022 (LVI) Winner: Los Angeles Rams
- Super Bowl 2021 (LV) Winner: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Super Bowl 2020 (LIV) Winner: Kansas City Chiefs
- Super Bowl 2019 (LIII) Winner: New England Patriots
Looking for the favourites ahead of the Super Bowl 2026 final in California? The Philadelphia Eagles (13/2) lead the odds, followed by the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills (7/1), the Kansas City Chiefs (8/1) and the Detroit Lions (12/1).
Odds subject to change.
How Does NFL Handicap Betting Work?
Also known as spread betting, NFL handicap betting involves giving the favourite a points deficit (i.e. Patriots -6.5) with the underdog receiving a points boost (Lions +6.5).
- If you back the Patriots -6.5, they must win by seven points or more for your bet to win
- If you back the Lions +6.5, they can either win outright or lose by six points or fewer
Why is this a popular bet? It makes every game competitive even in uneven match-ups where one team is expected to dominate the other.
Your bet can still land even if your team loses the game too – as long as they stay within the handicap limit selected ahead of time.
NFL Betting FAQs
NFL betting odds show the likelihood of a particular outcome, highlighting the favourite and the underdog. Odds under Evens (i.e. 4/6) signal the favourite, while odds over Evens (i.e. 7/1) point to the underdog.
