Premier League Gameweek 24 Tips: 6/1 Acca
There are five Premier League matches scheduled for Saturday, with league leaders Arsenal travelling to Elland Road to face Leeds United.
Resurgent Manchester United host Fulham as one of four Sunday games, with Tottenham welcoming Manchester City to London for the main event of the weekend.
We have picked out the best bets from the weekend matches, creating a four-game accumulator which pays almost 6/1.
Tip 1 – Arsenal to beat Leeds @ 8/15
Defeat to Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium last Sunday has left Arsenal's title bid faltering and the Gunners are desperate to get back on track with three points at Elland Road on Saturday.
Arsenal have received plenty of criticism for their first home loss of the season, but it is important to note how well Manchester United performed and the injection of confidence that the Red Devils have enjoyed since Michael Carrick took over as manager. The Gunners can get back to winning ways against limited Leeds.
A comfortable 3-2 Champions League victory over Kairat on Wednesday night will not have taken much out of Arsenal, who were cruising at 3-1 from the 36th minute onwards, conceding a consolation in the dying seconds.
Arsenal won 3-1 at Inter in their last away game and the Londoners' defensive solidity provides a fantastic foundation for success on the road. Mikel Arteta's men have conceded only nine goals away from home in the Premier League this term.
Tip 2 – Chelsea to beat West Ham @ 1/2
Chelsea players appear to have had their shackles taken off under new manager Liam Rosenior, performing with freedom and smiles on their faces, and the Blues can be expected to destroy West Ham at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
Chelsea have won five of their six matches under Rosenior and completed a fourth consecutive victory by beating Napoli in the Champions League on Wednesday night. The Londoners are buzzing and West Ham seem ill-equipped to repel their hosts at the Bridge.
Tip 3 – Manchester United to beat Fulham @ 11/20
The mood at Old Trafford has transformed after back-to-back victories over Manchester City and Arsenal - and the resurgent Red Devils can continue their revival by beating Fulham at the Theatre of Dreams.
Michael Carrick has got Manchester United motivated again and reinstating Kobbie Mainoo to the starting line-up has particularly invigorated the red half of Manchester.
Fulham have drawn with Crystal Palace and lost to Leeds in their last two away games, so are facing their most difficult road mission for a while.
United can end the weekend in the top four and Carrick can keep them on course for a Champions League return next season.
Tip 4 – Aston Villa to beat Brentford @ 19/20
Aston Villa continue to be disrespected by market makers and the high-flying Villans are a remarkably big price to beat Brentford on Sunday.
Villa have won eight of their 11 home games in the league this season and were on a streak of 11 consecutive home victories in all competitions until Everton ended that run earlier this month.
Unai Emery’s men have impressed since that setback against the Toffees and should have too many weapons for Brentford, who have lost eight of their 11 league away games this season. The Bees have lost their last two matches 2-0 and something similar seems likely on their trip to the Midlands.
