Premier League Gameweek 26 Tips
It is Gameweek 26 of the 2025/26 Premier League season with 10 fixtures played across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
League leaders Arsenal could see their advantage cut to three points by the time they kickoff against Brentford on Thursday night and we have four bets across the midweek action.
Tip 1 – Leeds to beat Chelsea @ 5/1
It was only December that Leeds crushed Chelsea 3-1 at Elland Road and the 5/1 on offer about the Whites repeating the trick at Stamford Bridge looks far too big.
Of course, the Blues now have home advantage and Liam Rosenior is in charge, but the west Londoners look to have been overrated in this spot.
It’s four straight Premier League victories for Chelsea, but those successes have come against Brentford, West Ham, Crystal Palace and Wolves, in what rates a pretty light run of fixtures.
The Blues trailed West Ham 2-0 before winning 3-2, they were second-best in a 2-0 victory over Brentford and the 3-1 over Palace can be viewed as fortunate too.
That’s not just opinion either.
Rosenior’s men lost the shot count 15-6 against the Bees and it was 14-10 when meeting the Eagles.
Chelsea do have enough quality in their squad to turn matches in their favour, but Leeds were impressive when hammering Nottingham Forest 3-1 at the weekend and Daniel Farke’s side have lost only two of their last 13 matches.
Tip 2 – Tottenham to beat Newcastle @ 37/20
Thomas Frank is under maximum pressure at Tottenham, but the former Brentford boss may get some much-needed relief against Newcastle on Tuesday night.
Spurs had little chance of winning at Old Trafford against Manchester United on Saturday, following Christian Romero’s first-half red card, but the Lilywhites had previously held a top-level Manchester City to a 2-2 draw in north London.
Clearly, there are major issues at Spurs this season, but it hasn’t been all plain sailing for Newcastle and the Magpies look vulnerable on their travels.
Eddie Howe’s side have won only two of their 12 Premier League away games this term and their last two road trips have resulted in a 4-1 top-flight loss at Liverpool and 3-1 League Cup defeat at Man City.
Newcastle have lost four of their last five matches and the weekend’s 3-2 St James’ Park loss to Brentford was an alarming result.
Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa have been unable to fill the void left by the departure of Alexander Isak and that duo have combined to hit only one goal in their last 22 appearances.
Tip 3 – West Ham to beat Manchester United @ 10/3
Michael Carrick is a perfect four wins from four matches since taking charge at Old Trafford and the former Middlesbrough gaffer could be closing in on a permanent role.
The Red Devils have beaten Manchester City, Arsenal, Fulham and Tottenham on that run, and while there has certainly been plenty of improvement, there has also been some good fortune mixed in.
United benefited from two wonder strikes from Patrick Dorgu and Matheus Cunha in the 3-2 success over Arsenal and Cristian Romero’s first-half red card handed Carrick’s side the game against Spurs at the weekend.
West Ham have taken nine points from their last four Premier League games, to give themselves a shot at safety and the only defeat on that run was a narrow 3-2 loss against Chelsea, where the Hammers led 2-0.
Nuno Espirito Santo found a way to frustrate and hold United to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford in December and it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if the Irons went one better and picked up a victory in east London on Tuesday night.
Tip 4 – Brighton to beat Aston Villa @ 3/1
The final play on the Gameweek 26 of the Premier League season comes when Brighton head for Villa Park on Wednesday night.
It has been an excellent campaign for Villa, but it’s difficult to believe that Unai Emery’s men can continue to gain results which outstrip their performances.
Villa lost the shot count 20-7, corner count 11-4 and it was 2.06 to 0.44 on expected goals when picking up a 1-1 draw at Bournemouth at the weekend.
It has been a similar story for much of the campaign, with 12 of Villa’s last 14 wins coming by a single-goal margin.
Brighton are having a tricky spell, but the Seagulls have lost only five of their last 17 games and they can bounce back from Sunday’s painful 1-0 loss to Crystal Palace.
