Tip 1 – Pimblett to win by submission @ 6/4

Where else to begin than the main event and an opportunity for Paddy ‘the Baddy’ Pimblett (23-3-0) to silence his doubters and etch his name in UFC history as interim lightweight champion.

Of course, to do that he must get past Justin Gaethje (25-5-0), a fighter’s fighter who arrived with a hell of a lot of hype in 2017 due to an unrelenting style that would often turn fights into bloody, hard-hitting wars of attrition.

‘The Highlight’ has since adapted his style to be a touch more conservative – likely due to the sheer amount of damage taken – choosing now to bait his opponents into carefully laid traps and strike sequences.

Similarly, Pimblett has also opted for a slower route to victory since his debut, adopting a much more cautious approach that has seen him showcase a variety of finishes, notably the triangle choke submission of King Green at UFC 304.

This event is in many ways Pimblett’s coming out party, which is one of the main reasons we’re backing the Liverpudlian to squeeze this opportunity, and Gaethje, into submission. With his opponent now 37 and having not fought in nearly a year, the timing couldn’t be more perfect.

Tip 2 – Sean O’Malley to win & 2+ rounds @ 11/10

Few fighters are given a second chance to vie for titles after back-to-back losses to then champion Merab Dvalishvili.

And yet, here ‘Suga’ Sean O’Malley (18-3-0) is locked and loaded for another potential slugfest in the entertainment capital of the world.

We say potential as this fight doesn’t have to be nearly as gruelling as advertised if the former bantamweight champion can take advantage of Song Yadong’s (22-8-1) clear and obvious weaknesses.

For all his knockout power ‘the Kung Fu Kid’ is still yet to master the art of cutting off the cage to increase his chances of planting his feet and delivering maximum devastation – as seen in the emphatic 2019 knockout of Alejandro Perez.

This is where O’Malley can really hurt him.

Keeping the distance and countering at the right times will ensure he stays ahead on the scorecards and open a potential window to land a significant shot of his own that could rock his fellow bantamweight.

A 2022 win over current champion Petr Yan is doing enough to keep O’Malley in the title conversation for now but a win over Yadong should strengthen his legitimacy, which is all the motivation he should need.

Tip 3 – Over 99+ significant strikes landed in Allen vs Silva @ 17/20

Don’t sleep on the main card opener.

Arnold Allen (20-3-0) and Jean Silva (16-3-0) are set to deliver fireworks in a fight that might outshine the main event for pure action.

Both featherweights possess crisp boxing, fluid combinations, and the ability to turn hands, feet, knees and elbows into fight-ending weapons at a moment’s notice; as many have found out the hard way.

Over 70+ significant strikes has landed in two of Allen’s last three performances and in Silva’s last fight against Lopes as well as the Brazilian’s defiant victory over Kevin Vallejos, another slick boxer, in Dana White’s Contender Series.

Many will be tuning into this card for the main event but don’t be surprised if these two steal the show off the rip.

The pressure is on for Allen, at 31, to put a decent run together after a decade on the UFC roster.

His hunger is matched only by Silva, who will also be looking to climb the rankings from 10th against the sixth-best featherweight in the division.
