Serie A tips: Back tight tussle in AC Milan vs Juventus
The title race is coming to a meek end with Inter cantering away to a 21st Scudetti — but the race for Europe still needs sorting.
Both AC Milan and Juventus are bang in the battle to secure Champions League funding next season.
The Rossoneri are bidding to avoid a third defeat in four, while the Old Lady are without defeat in eight.
We know what the formbook is telling us but we’ve gone a bit deeper. Here are our three best bets as one of Italy’s most storied rivalries gets set to write another chapter…

Tip 1 – Juventus to win to-nil @ 3/1
It’s hard to side with AC Milan at the moment.
They have been uninspiring of late, scoring just one goal in their last three games and only nine in nine.
They still have the best defence in the league statistically but Juve aren’t too far behind in the rearguard stakes and Milan’s ability to find the net lags considerably behind the Bianconeri.
The visitors are also on a tear at the moment with four wins in five. And they have lost just one of their previous six meetings against AC Milan.
This one can go to the Old Lady in what should be a low-scoring affair.
Tip 2 – Under 1.5 goals @ 47/20
It would be accurate to say this fixture has hardly been edge-of-your-seat stuff in recent years.
Indeed, just one of the previous 10 meetings between the two teams has seen over 2.5 goals in the game.
It gets more dry. In the 10 most recent meetings between the two, an average of 1.1 goals per game were scored.
Four of AC Milan’s last six games saw under 1.5 goals in the game, while that mark has not been surpassed in two of Juventus’ last five matches into the bargain.
This will be another low-scoring affair.
Tip 3 – Kenan Yildiz to score @ 5/2
One of the in-form players of Juventus’ season has been a bit quiet of late, but Turkish international Keenan Yildiz is a constant threat.
In his last three games, he’s managed just two shots. In his previous three, he managed 11 attempts, scoring two goals in the process.
He averages 2.78 shots per game and likes to get himself in positions he can harm the opposition.
He’s his club’s leading scorer in Serie A, with 10 goals, and looks a good bet at the odds to find the scoresheet here.
Fancy all our shouts to land? You can combine Juventus to win to-nil, under 1.5 goals & Yildiz to score into a 30/1 Acca. Add it to your betslip by clicking here.
