For me, I think if Liverpool win a cup Arne Slot will stay and he probably deserves to.
It’s awkward because Xabi Alonso is available and I’m sure a lot of Liverpool fans would like to see him have a go at that job.
If Liverpool don’t win anything – and that’s more likely than not at the moment – I’m not sure he will stay for another season.
It seems that this team is not functioning as it should anymore.
The performance against Galatasaray wasn’t great and leaves them in a bit of a tricky spot ahead of the second leg.
Ibrahima Konate had a stinker and, while managers can’t account for individual errors, these inconsistencies have been there all season.

I thought Real Madrid were sensational against Manchester City.
Federico Valverde basically pausing Marc Guehi while he went round him was like watching a computer game. It was incredible.
His three different finishes were all spectacular in their own way – he’s a very special player.
Perhaps most worrying for City was that it could have easily been more if Vinicius Jr hadn’t messed about with his penalty.
