  • Major PDC singles titles: 10
  • Premier League best: Winner (2024)
  • Last season: Runner-up

Now the undisputed king of the oche, world number one and back-to-back reigning world champion Luke Littler joins the 2026 BetMGM Premier League with a singular focus: reclaiming the title.

After winning the BetMGM Premier League on his explosive 2024 debut, the Nuke was forced to watch great rival Luke Humphries lift the trophy last season.

It was a rare taste of defeat in a major final for a player who has systematically conquered the sport over the last two years.

Since his world-shaking debut Littler has amassed an astonishing 10 major titles, establishing an era of dominance not seen since the peak of Michael van Gerwen.

Second place is not an option for the single most devastating force in modern darts – and the Nuke rightly begins the 2026 BetMGM Premier League season as the favourite to win it all come Finals Night.

Below you can take an in-depth look at Littler’s career to date ahead of the blockbuster 17-night 2026 BetMGM Premier League Darts season, which kicks off on 5th February in Newcastle.

Luke Littler History

The modern game changed when Littler took to the Alexandra Palace stage in December 2023.

As a 16-year-old qualifier and world youth champion, the Nuke didn’t so much knock on the door of immediate success as smash straight through it.

A former Lakeside champion, the reigning UK Open titlist were among those who fell to the teenager before a 4-1 demolition of his childhood hero Raymond van Barneveld earned him a quarter-finals spot

Littler stormed to the final and, while he lost that to Humphries, a star was undoubtedly born.

His debut 2024 BetMGM Premier League campaign proved his Ally Pally run was no fluke.

The Nuke topped the regular season league table, hit a stunning nine-darter in the final and defeated Humphries to claim his first major title, ensuring the BetMGM Premier League and Littler are inexorably linked for all time.

He quickly added the World Series Finals and the Grand Slam of Darts to his collection, confirming his status as a certified winner.

What followed was a year of total domination. After winning the 2025 World Darts Championship, the Nuke then systematically dismantled the field to win the UK Open, World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, Grand Slam and the Players Championship Finals.

As for 2026? New year, same Littler as the Nuke immediately won a second world title, becoming the first player to go back-to-back at Ally Pally since the great Gary Anderson almost a decade earlier.
