BETMGM VS LAURA WOODS: PREMIER LEAGUE DARTS NIGHT 8
The BetMGM Premier League Darts head to Berlin for Night 8 with Luke Littler hunting down Jonny Clayton at the top of the table as we hit the halfway mark.
The Nuke won his second night of the season last week in Dublin, coming from 5-0 down to beat Gerwyn Price in the final – a significant blow for the Iceman who will want to bounce back here.
Littler’s comeback meant our ambassador Laura Woods nicked a point from our grasp, with Price our pick for the nightly win. With a point each gained in Ireland, Laura still has a commanding 6-2 lead.
Each week, Laura pits her darting wits against the house to predict the action across three key markets:
- Night Winner
- Most 180s
- Highest Checkout
A point is awarded for every correct prediction with two bonus points going to whoever calls all three correctly."
With Laura now four ahead after seven nights, the pressure is certainly on us to turn it around, Littler-style.

NIGHT 8 FIXTURES
Here’s the draw bracket for BetMGM Premier League Darts Night 8:

With things tightening at the top, Littler has the summit in his sights.
He made up five points on the Ferrett last week, who suffered his first quarter-final defeat, meaning the gap is now just three.
Price is in third and the race for the play-off spots is really intensifying. Just five points separate him from Stephen Bunting in seventh while, Clayton and Josh Rock aside, there is no more than a 16-leg swing in the leg difference between the other six players.
The fixtures this week are determined by league position so it’s Clayton against winless Rock first up, with Rocky having the nightmare BetMGM Premier League debut so far.
Luke Humphries occupies the final play-off spot with Michael van Gerwen just behind him. They play each other here. MVG hasn’t won a game since Night 2, though, and needs to turn his season back around pronto.
Littler takes on Bunting for the second week in a row – the Bullet four points of the play-offs – while Price and the returning Gian van Veen round off the quarters.
NIGHT 8 BETTING ODDS
So what do the odds say is likely to happen in Germany?
NIGHT 8 WINNER BETTING
After two wins in three weeks, Littler leads the night winner market at 5/4 – despite not being top of the table.
Defending champion Humphries is the 4/1 second favourite despite being one of three players yet to win a night while Price, who had dropped just one leg all night in Dublin all the way to being 5-0 up in the final, is available at 9/2.
Van Veen, also yet to win a night but with three appearances in the final, is 7/1 with leader Clayton at 9s.
Night 1 winner Van Gerwen can be backed at 12/1, bottom-of-the-pile Rock at 16s, and despite winning here last year, Bunting is the rank outsider at 20/1.

NIGHT 8 180s BETTING
He’s averaging over four 180s a game and with more maximums than anyone, Littler is Evens favourite to hit the most again here – he has done so in the past two weeks.
Humphries is 4/1, Clayton can be backed at 8/1 with both Rock and Price available at 9s.
The Dutch duo, Van Veen and Van Gerwen are 10/1 and 14/1 respectively, while the Bullet is a long 22/1 to throw the most maximums.
NIGHT 8 HIGHEST CHECKOUT BETTING
Once again, the Nuke heads the highest checkout market. He’s 3/1 to have the highest finish and is primed, having hit a 170 last week.
Humphries is 7/2 but is yet to do so this season, with Welshmen Price and Clayton at 6/1.
Van Veen and Rock are 7s, with MVG, who also hit a Big Fish last week, available at 8/1. Bunting rounds off the market at 22s.
