How Night 4 Unfolded in Belfast

Belfast delivered a night of pure darting theatre.

Bunting ignited his campaign, going from pointless to champion with a trio of sensational performances to claim the Night 4 crown.

The night’s defining moment, however, belonged to hometown hero Josh Rock.

He raised the roof with a stunning nine-darter, claiming the first bespoke 18ct set of BetMGM golden darts of the season.

Despite Rock's early exit, his moment of perfection sets a new standard as the action moves to Cardiff, where Welsh duo Jonny Clayton and Gerwyn Price have their home advantage.

Bunting began with a personal-best BetMGM Premier League match average of 106.63 to dispatch defending champion Humphries before whitewashing Night 3 winner Clayton – who had again eliminated Littler – with another 106+ average.

The Bullet then handed Van Veen his third final loss in four weeks with a brilliant 13-darter to seal a commanding victory.

THE WINNER’S ENCLOSURE

“I’m overjoyed to be honest, this has got to rank up there with one of the best wins of my career,” Bunting said post-match.

“I was a bit emotional early on after my first game but I held it together.

“I had John Terry say I should be pushing people off the stage but hopefully I’ve done that tonight with my scoring and my doubles!

Bunting Quote

“I still believe I’m one of the best players in the world and deserve to be in this Premier League, this goes a long way to say why I should be here.

“The fans in here tonight, wow! These are the nights that I play for."

Updated 2026 BetMGM Premier League Darts Table

Clayton remains top of the table after another semi-final appearance in Belfast – and there is still a Dutchman trailing him closely.

It’s no longer Van Gerwen, though, as debutant Van Veen leapfrogged his compatriot into second spot with his third final run in four weeks.

Bunting’s victory rockets him to fifth meaning Humphries and Littler occupy two of the bottom three places in the table four nights in.
