LITTLER ON THE CHARGE – BETMGM PREMIER LEAGUE DARTS NIGHT 7 RECAP
After a slow start Luke Littler has most definitely arrived in the BetMGM Premier League.
An astonishing comeback saw him triumph 6-5 over Gerwyn Price to close the gap to Jonny Clayton to just three points.
Here’s everything you need to know about Night 7 in a nutshell:
- Night 7 winner: Luke Littler
- Runner-up: Gerwyn Price
- Key takeaway: Littler goes just three points behind Clayton at the top; The Nuke and Michael van Gerwen both hit 170 checkouts in pulsating semi-final; Josh Rock remains bottom and pointless after Price whitewash; Luke Humphries moves into the top four.

How Night 7 Unfolded in Dublin
Littler’s road to victory in Dublin saw him survive eight match darts in total – when it’s your night, it’s your night.
Averaging over 105 in a quarter's win over Stephen Bunting , the Nuke would face MVG in the semi-final – Mighty Mike receiving a bye courtesy of Gian van Veen’s withdrawal.
Both players checked out the big fish, with Van Gerwen going 5-3 up but being unable to get over the line despite having three darts for the match.
The other side of the draw saw Price thump a demoralised Rock 6-0, while Humphries got the better of league-leader Clayton.
The Welshman comprehensively beat Cool Hand in the last four, averaging over 109 and hitting six of nine doubles to set up a showdown with Littler.
Some stunning darts left the Iceman 5-0 up and set for victory, but it somehow wasn’t to be. Five match darts came and went, Littler reeled him in and eventually won the deciding leg in a match for the ages.
UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

The top of the table is looking tight, while at the bottom it is more misery for Rock who remains winless and pointless ahead of a trip to Germany and Berlin for Night 8.
THE WINNER’S ENCLOSURE WITH… LUKE LITTLER
"I have no idea how I have done that," Littler told Sky Sports. "I got the first leg, had a bit of fun. Then I got my 180 but Gezzy had set up tops so I waved [the crowd] goodbye.
"The rest is history. I was gone. When Gerwyn Price was on tops... he doesn't usually miss.
"Absolutely [I thought I was gone]. I may as well have been off the stage. This is darts, things happen."
He added: "Obviously, I have finished top the last two years and I want to do it again.
"Jonny and the start he has had, it is good to see I am in second but I am right behind him now and chasing."

Updated 2026 BetMGM Premier League Darts Table
Littler’s second nightly win means he is now just three points behind Clayton at the top of the table, and four points clear of third-placed Price.
Defending champion Humphries’ win over Clayton saw him move into the final play-off spot but the race for the top four is very tight.
Just four points separate Cool Hand and seventh-placed Bunting, with the Bullet, MVG and Van Veen all having a real shot at a place at the O2.
For Josh Rock, however, the Premier League continues to be a nightmare. Seven nights and seven losses – can Rocky finally get off the mark next week?
