BETMGM VS LAURA WOODS: PREMIER LEAGUE DARTS NIGHT 2
For the first time ever, Belgium hosts BetMGM Premier League Darts action as the PDC’s premier roadshow sets up camp in Antwerp for Night 2.
That also means it’s time for the second instalment of our brand new challenge with ambassador Laura Woods too!
Each week, Laura pits her darting wits against the house to predict the action across three key markets:
- Night Winner
- Most 180s
- Highest Checkout
A point is awarded for every correct prediction but please note that, if someone calls all three correctly, they’ll earn an extra two bonus points (meaning they get five points in total for that night).
Last week Laura secured a slender 1-0 win as surprise early exits for double world champion Luke Littler and defending Premier League Darts titlist Luke Humphries scuppered quite a few selections.

NIGHT 2 FIXTURES
Like the past four Premier League campaigns, the 2026 format consists of an eight-player knockout tournament each night.
The winner receives five league points and £10,000, second place receives three points and the semi-finalists receive two. The four leading points scorers after 16 nights will advance to Finals Night at the O2 in London on 28th May.
Here’s the draw bracket for BetMGM Premier League Darts Night 2:

There is no more blockbuster an opening tie in all of darts than Littler versus Humphries.
The two great rivals kick off proceedings in Antwerp looking to rectify last week’s quarter and semi-final exits respectively – and it has all the ingredients of a bona fide Belgium barnstormer.
The winner of that tie faces the triumphant party of the meeting between Michael van Gerwen, last week’s winner, and tournament debutant Josh Rock.
On the other half of the draw, Jonny Clayton arrives to face Stephen Bunting fresh from last week’s night-high 109.8 average in his last-eight win over Rock while Gerwyn Price takes on Night 1’s beaten finalist Gian Van Veen.

NIGHT 2 BETTING ODDS
But what do the odds say is likely to happen?
NIGHT 2 WINNER BETTING
Littler leads the night winner market at 13/8 despite his first-round exit in Newcastle.
Van Veen goes into the night as 4/1 second favourite followed by Humphries at 5/1, Price and Van Gerwen at 7/1 and Rock at 10/1.
For the second week running, the market suggests the draw has not been kind to Clayton (12/1) or Bunting (20/1) as they bring up the rear in the betting.
NIGHT 2 180s MARKET
Likewise, back-to-back world champion Littler heads the betting to hit the most 180s on Night 2. The 19-year-old is currently 6/5 money to do so.
Humphries (6/1) is followed by Van Veen and Rock at 7/1 while Clayton (9/1), Price (10/1), Van Gerwen (11/1) and Bunting (14/1) round off the maximums market.
NIGHT 2 HIGHEST CHECKOUT ODDS
This is the market that saw Laura snatch a Night 1 victory over us. Van Gerwen’s 117 out was the highest of the night – and, worse for us, he then went on to defy a 110 checkout from our own pick Van Veen to win the final.
Mighty Mike is 11/2 joint third favourite to land the highest checkout on Night 2 alongside Rock and Humphries.
Littler is 7/2 favourite to do the business with Van Veen a smidge behind at 9/2.
Price (13/2), Clayton (8/1) and Bunting (12/1) finish off the field while it is 15/8 for the big fish – a 170 checkout – to be hit at AFAS Dome on Night 2.

BETMGM VS LAURA WOODS: NIGHT 2 PICKS
| Market | BetMGM | Laura Woods |
|---|---|---|
| Night Winner | Van Gerwen | Humphries |
| Most 180s | Van Veen | Humphries |
| Highest Checkout | Littler | Littler |
NIGHT WINNER
BETMGM: MICHAEL VAN GERWEN
Stat attack: MVG loves creating history and becoming the first winner in Belgium will motivate him no end. He also won last week and followed it up with some good displays on the floor in Germany this week
LAURA WOODS: LUKE HUMPHRIES
Stat attack: Humphries has beaten Littler in three of their last five Premier League meetings & made at least the final in three of the first four nights last season
MOST 180s
BETMGM: GIAN VAN VEEN
Stat attack: Van Veen hit nine maximums in Newcastle and has landed in the opposite half of the draw to the other three members of the top four, making a run to a second consecutive final – and thus plenty of 180 chances – a distinct possibility
LAURA WOODS: LUKE HUMPHRIES
Stat attack: Humphries has enhanced his 180 hitting lately, racked up 42 maximums in five games at the World Masters and hit five in his two games on Night 1
HIGHEST CHECKOUT
BETMGM: LUKE LITTLER
LAURA WOODS: LUKE LITTLER
Stat attack: Littler hit the night’s highest checkout four times last season, more than any other player, and comes into this with a full week of rest after skipping the floor events in Hildesheim in midweek
😬 Night 1 ends with a slender 1-0 victory for @laura_woodsy...
