WHO WON BETMGM PREMIER LEAGUE DARTS NIGHT 16?

Though on paper there was little to play for, entertainment was in abundance in Sheffield as the regular season was wrapped up.

It was eventual winner Stephen Bunting that kicked the night off against Clayton, who was already assured of a second-place finish, and the Bullet prevailed in a match where both players averaged more than a ton.

Price then beat Gian van Veen 6-2 in a disappointing end to his debut campaign for the Dutchman.

Bunting vs Humphries

Top against bottom was next up and the match was a lot closer than predicted, with Littler needing a deciding leg to squeeze past Josh Rock before Humphries also needed an 11th leg to beat Michael van Gerwen.

Price couldn’t get past Bunting in the first semi while, in the other half of the draw, Humphries made light work of the Nuke by winning 6-1 and guaranteeing third place in the process.

That left Bunting and Cool Hand to battle it out in the final and it was the former who deservedly won it with an average of 106.37.

The league table looks like this:

Key talking points from Night 16:

  • Bunting wins more than one night in a season for the first time
  • The Bullet won the night, had the most 180s and the highest checkout
  • Littler missed the chance to claim a record seventh nightly win
  • Both Littler and Rock averaged below 90 in their quarter-final

Keep an eye out for any nine-darters – Littler hit one on Finals Night two years ago and BetMGM is once again rewarding any player who hits a nine-darter during this year’s Premier League season with a custom-made set of solid gold darts, worth £30,000.

The 18ct prize, made bespoke by Humphrey and Hawkins, is up for grabs for any of the eight players who land the perfect leg – a feat that has been achieved 21 times in the tournament’s 21-year history – and can be won multiple times during the 17 weeks of BetMGM Premier League Darts action.

Rock has already thrown a nine so far this year, a memorable occasion on his home night, while in 2025 Humphries, Littler, Price (twice) and Rob Cross all struck perfection, meaning BetMGM handed out gold darts worth £150,000.

BetMGM vs Laura Woods: Our ambassador makes her picks and pits her darting wits against the house which, for us at least, is now all about pride.
