BETMGM PREMIER LEAGUE DARTS NIGHT 13: CROSS STARS IN 15/1 ACCA
Night 12 in Liverpool belonged to Gerwyn Price.
The Welshman secured his third nightly win of the season, beating world number one Luke Humphries in the final to move up into the top three.
Intriguingly, the two face off again in the third quarter-final at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on Night 13.
Opening proceedings it’s top against bottom as Luke Littler takes on Stephen Bunting with the Bullet’s top-four hopes hanging on by a thread after last week’s home night thrashing against Rob Cross.
Cross tests his own Finals Night credentials against seven-time BetMGM Premier League champion Michael van Gerwen while Chris Dobey, second-bottom but only five points off the top four, takes on Nathan Aspinall.
The road to the O2 is narrowing – and Night 13 could be decisive. Here’s the full quarter-final running order:
BetMGM Premier League Darts Tips: 15/1 Night 13 Acca
- Littler to win & hit most 180s vs Bunting
- Aspinall to beat Dobey
- Price most 180s vs Humphries
- Cross to beat Van Gerwen
Leg 1 – Luke Littler to win & hit most 180s vs Stephen Bunting @ 3/4
Littler tops the table but hasn’t won a nightly trophy since Newcastle in March – a bona fide drought by his incredibly high standards.
Bunting was triumphant in Berlin on Night 9 but that remains his only success and one of just two nights he has made it out of the quarters. He remains bottom of the pile, his Finals Night dream all but over.
The Bullet’s latest defeat – a 6-1 home loss to Cross – was perhaps his most disappointing, averaging 91.01 at precisely the moment his BetMGM Premier League campaign was expected to turn.
Bunting can, however, draw belief from Rotterdam, where he edged Littler 6-5 with a superb 106 average. It helped erase the memory of the 6-0 whitewash he suffered against the Nuke on Night 8.
Still, Littler should relish this fourth meeting. He has hit at least five 180s in each of their previous clashes, including an outstanding 10 in a 6-3 Exeter win.
Backing Littler to win and hit the most 180s at 3/4 strongly appeals, especially given no player comes close to the reigning champion’s 128 maximums so far.
A single 180 in Birmingham hands the 18-year-old the new Premier League season record – he should impose himself far beyond that.
Leg 2 – Nathan Aspinall to beat Chris Dobey @ 9/10
Aspinall occupies the final spot in the top four but last week’s early exit leaves him tied with Van Gerwen on 17 points and needing a win here.
Dobey clings to hope but, realistically, must win the night to stay in contention. Defeat to Aspinall would leave him at least seven points adrift with three nights remaining – surely a bridge too far for the Northumberland thrower.
Unfortunately for Hollywood, history is against him. Dobey has only beaten Aspinall once – back in the 2023 Premier League – and this season’s meetings have seen Aspinall prevail 6–5 and 6–2.
Dobey has given himself a chance by winning in Rotterdam – but Aspinall has the form and the nous to extinguish his top-four hopes here.
Backing Aspinall to win the match at 9/10 looks a solid shout as he looks to stay on track for Finals Night.
Remember: BetMGM is paying out early when your player takes a three-leg lead, regardless of the final result. More information can be found here.
Leg 3 – Gerwyn Price to hit most 180s vs Luke Humphries @ 11/10
World number one Humphries has had three runner-up finishes in five weeks – but hasn’t lifted a nightly title since February.
Cool Hand’s consistency makes him virtually assured of a Finals Night spot, while opponent Price is also well-positioned near the top of the table after claiming a third win of the season in Liverpool.
The Iceman edged out Humphries in last week’s final, hitting the most 180s and producing the highest checkout in the process.

While Humphries ranks second for overall maximums his recent scoring has slowed – and his 2.65 180s per match is lower than every BetMGM Premier League rival save Cross.
The 2024 world champion has outscored his opponent on 180s in a league-lowest 31% of matches – a figure worsened by last week’s meeting with Price when the Welshman won that particular count 3-2 – while he hasn’t managed more than three in a match since Night 10.
Backing Price to hit the most 180s at 11/20 therefore looks the play, with momentum and finishing power both on his side going into the Second City tussle.
Leg 4 – Rob Cross to beat Michael van Gerwen @ 11/8
Cross remains in the Finals Night conversation, sitting three points off the top four despite being one of only two players yet to win a night. The other? His opponent here, Van Gerwen. Voltage has enjoyed recent dominance over the seven-time BetMGM Premier League champion, winning their only clash this season and five of their last six meetings overall.
At the business end of the campaign, every night matters. Each point is crucial, each leg vital.
Van Gerwen lifted the German Grand Prix trophy earlier this month but stalled in Liverpool when exiting at the semi-final stage.
Cross also reached the last four – a familiar story, having made seven semis without yet progressing further.
This one promises to be another tight battle: their last three Premier League meetings have all gone at least 10 legs. But backing Cross to win at 11/8 offers real value, especially when you factor in both his recent record against MVG and the fact he carries the tournament’s third-highest average of 98.84. He may be just outside the top four – but Cross’s darts tell a different story. Expect him to make it to his eighth semi-final at the Utilita.

Night 13 BetMGM Specials
Littler is once again the clear favourite to win the night. He arrives in the West Midlands at 11/8 to go one step further than his runner-up spot here last year.
It isn’t hard to see why – despite not lifting a nightly trophy in more than a month such were his early performances that his 30 points still give him a four-point cushion at the top.
Humphries is again the now customary second-favourite but hasn’t won a night for over two months now and greater value can likely be found elsewhere than his 9/2.
Van Gerwen was triumphant here last year and can be backed at 6/1 but it is his quarter-final opponent, Cross, who catches the eye.
Voltage has yet to make a final but moments like his sensational nine-darter in Brighton remind everyone what a threat he can be and 14/1 for him to pick up a long-overdue nightly win stands out.
With four weeks still to go, we have already handed out four sets of custom-made 18ct gold darts, and there’s still time for more to be won before the final arrow is thrown at London’s O2 on 29th May!
Price, Cross, Humphries and Littler have all hit the perfect leg so far in the 2025 BetMGM Premier League and it’s 7/1 for any player to hit a nine-darter at any point across the night in Birmingham.
Remember the show-stopping two nines in Brighton? It’s 66/1 for that to happen again here.
